2nd Annual- Brotherhood of the World- Summer Camp

BOTW group presents its 2010 summer camp, which will comprise of the following programs: basketball skills and training, financial advisory, healthy life cooking, and a live band.

•Top college athletes, trainers and coaches develop the skills of players in various skill development practices and competitive competition.

•A Merrill Lynch strategy team to come in and speak to the youth about financial investments and money management.

•CEO of A Wellness Association will speak and demonstrate to the children about healthy cooking and lifestyles.

•A Skills Program that will incorporate skill sets such as dribbling, shooting, and post moves.

•Guest appearances from different influential role models in the community such as NBA players and Community Speakers to interact and converse to the youth.

•A local live band will be in attendance to put on an entertaining live show for the youth of the camp.

BOTW - Back to School Event

Brotherhood of the World and DTLR will host the “Back to School” event in August. BOTW and volunteers will be passing out tablets, utensils and other school supplies to the kids in the Atlanta community. Our mission is to make sure our youth will have the necessary tools and resources to be successful in the classroom and in life.

Brotherhood of the World will presents its first summer camp available to the youth of the Atlanta area this summer. The Camp will provide:

Brotherhood- Roswell

Gani Lawal, Zachery Peacock, Lewis Clinch and Alade Aminu go out to the Roswell community and teach the youth, the basic principles and fundamentals at practice.

Brotherhood of the World - Community Hospital Event

Event Location: Grady Hospital

On October 24, 2008, Brotherhood of the World and Kappa Alpha Psi will host a Community Hospital Event at Grady Memorial Hospital. This will be the first of many events hosted by Brotherhood of the world to teach and mentor youth from the community in making good choices that will affect the rest of their lives. There will be team building activities and time for the basketball players and college students to mentor these young minds.

Register to Vote! We have provided a link on the homepage for everyone to vote. Exercise your right and your voice and take part in this year’s election. Election Day is November 4th, 2008.
Eligibility requirements for voting in Georgia are the same as any other state’s. Voters must be 18 years old, U.S. citizens, and legal residents of Georgia and the county where they are voting.

Brotherhood of the World Food Drive
November 20th – November 27th 2008

Brotherhood of the world will host its first annual, “Thanksgiving Food Drive” starting on Nov. 20th leading into Thanksgiving Day. The “Thanksgiving Food Drive” will assist underprivileged families as well as children. BOTW will distribute the meals to various social and Community Partner Programs. The agencies will identify the families and distribute the meals. We will have crates outside of the GT Football game on the 20th, GT vs. Miami; As well as crates outside of the GT vs. Arkansas- Pine Bluff, 25th. Our efforts will help many families in the inner-city of Atlanta.

Brotherhood of the World Toy Drive

Brotherhood of the World will host its first annual Toy Drive during the month of December. The drive will provide families and young children in need with presents and gifts on Christmas Day. We will supply crates outside of our GT basketball games in order to collect toys and items. The dates and times we will gather the toys will be announced soon.
