Back to School Event with T.I. @ Club Crucial
AUGUST 10th 2008, 12:00pm- 6:00pm

Brotherhood of the World and T.I. will host the “Back to School” event August 10, 2008. BOTW and volunteers will be setting up inflatable moonwalks and passing out book bags to the kids. Afterwards T.I. as well as GT and Wake players will sign autographs.

Essentials2Life program
AUGUST 9th 2008 ~ 11am-2pm

Alade Aminu and other fellow student-athletes will speak to some inner city kids from 12:30-1:30pm at the Essentials2Life program. The Essentials2Life program is an organization for inner city kids. Essentials2Life curriculum is tailored to equip these at risk kids to go on to college and make something of themselves.

YOUTH DAY
AUGUST 5TH 2008

Brotherhood of the World will participate in a day for the youth. We will discuss to the youth how to kickoff the school year right and engage in fun competitive competition.

USHERS NEW LOOK CAMP
JULY 25, 2008

Alade Aminu will be speaking to some of the kids at Usher's New Look camp here on Georgia Tech's campus. He is slated to speak for a few minutes about being a collegiate athlete, and the importance of giving back and then is going to play a little basketball with them.

KIPP WAY ACADEMY EVENT
JULY 11TH 2008

The KIPP Way Academy 5th graders this year are reporting to undergo some reading placement testing. While the kids are not testing, they are going to be participating in a football and basketball clinic, and then the 2 groups will switch places.
Alade Aminu, Zachery Peacock, Brad Sheehan, De’Andre Bell work "hands on" with the kids. As well as GT womens basketball and GT football players.

HARPER ARCHER MIDDLE SCHOOL
JUNE 27TH 2008

Alade Aminu and Al- Farouq Aminu speak to the youth at Haper Archer Middle School on the importance of education and how hardwork pays off.
The kids were very receptive to the message; came out on Sunday to Georgia Tech for their tutoring session and afterwards joined me in a tour of the college campus and college locker room; ending with a game of four on four in our practice gym.

ATLANTA ZOO
JUNE 20TH 2008

Georgia Tech Men and Women’s Basketball team as well as GT Tennis and GT cross country embrace the visitors of the Atlanta Zoo families and kids, with autographs and pictures.

CHILDREN’S HEALTHCARE OF ATLANTA
JUNE 6TH 2008

Georgia Tech Student-Athletes, Team Impact athletes, and several members of the new Atlanta WNBA team led games and other activities for the children in the hospital.
We were split up into different groups of 2-3 and were sent to different floors of the hospital where we entered the waiting rooms and played various indoor games to entertain the kids while they were waiting to be treated We all signed plenty of autographs and took lots of pictures.
